My Hero Academia Season 7 has fans speculating about when the anime series will return, and if the seventh season of the show will be its final one. Fans of the manga on which the show is based will recognize that the third and final saga in the My Hero Academia story is now well underway thanks to Season 6, so will the seventh be the anime’s final outing?

What is the My Hero Academia Season 7 release date?

My Hero Academia Season 7 does not yet have an official release date. The anime has not yet been announced as returning for a seventh season, but it is highly likely to happen thanks to the show’s ongoing popularity.

Looking back at the gaps between previous seasons of the series, fans should expect Season 7 to be released at some point around April 2024. If it runs for a similar length to those that have come before it, the seventh season will likely reach its conclusion before the end of December 2024.

Will My Hero Academia Season 7 be the final season of the anime?

My Hero Academia Season 7 has not been confirmed to be the final season of the series. However, it is highly likely that this will be the case, due to the story that has been told in the manga series on which the show is based.

The My Hero Academia manga was supposed to end in 2022, but there are still more issues to be released. Creator Mangaka Kohei Horikoshi has expressed his desire to end the series on his terms, which should be at some point this year (2023). As the anime continues to catch up with the chapters, the next couple of years may serve as the finale for both the manga series, and the show.
