Scream 6, stylized as Scream VI, is set to make its theatrical debut around the world, but horror fans are wondering if there is a way to watch the full movie online for free. Is there a way to stream Scream 6 on any of the major streaming platforms like Paramount Plus, or will you have to wait until the film has left theaters before getting a chance to watch it online?
Can you watch the full Scream 6 movie for free online?
You cannot watch Scream 6 for free online, as the film is not available to watch via online streaming. The movie will eventually make its way to Paramount Plus, thanks to Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group being the companies behind the slasher flick.
Paramount Plus does currently offer a free trial for new subscribers. Whether or not that free option will still be available when Scream 6 makes it to the streaming platform, however, remains to be seen. No official date has yet been set, but if it follows a similar release schedule to the fifth Scream movie, then it will likely be streaming in May 2023.
Scream 6 will be the first movie in the franchise not to feature Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, following a pay dispute. Legacy character Gale Weathers, played by Courteney Cox, is returning, alongside Scream 5 stars Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. Scream 4’s Hayden Panettiere is also back, as Ghostface survivor Kirby Reed.
Leaving Woodsboro behind for the first time, Scream 6 will see sisters Samantha (Barrera) and Tara Carpenter (Ortega) start a new chapter in New York City, alongside twins Chad (Gooding) and Mindy Meeks (Savoy Brown). Of course, there would be no movie without Ghostface, who will bring terror into their lives all over ago as a new series of brutal murders take place.
