Is There a Stranger Danger Release Date on Netflix?

After Netflix posted a clip called “Stranger Danger” to its Facebook page, subscribers wonder if a new TV show of that name is coming to the streaming platform. Has a release date been set for Stranger Danger on Netflix, or is it all one big misunderstanding following the hype surrounding the recent series The Night Agent?

What is the Stranger Danger Netflix release date?

There is no release date for Stranger Danger on Netflix, because there is no show called Stranger Danger. The clip posted to the official Netflix Facebook page was actually taken from the Netflix original series The Night Agent, which was confirmed to be returning for a second season just a few days ago.

The Night Agent, created by Shawn Ryan, and starring Gabriel Basso in the titular role, was released on March 23 and currently sits at #1 for most hours watched in its first week on the platform, clocking in a whopping 168,710,000 hours. The show’s renewal was announced on March 29, and Netflix has confirmed it will be released at some point in 2024.

All episodes of The Night Agent Season 1 are available to stream now, exclusively on Netflix.

In related news, a Netflix text and email scam is plaguing subscribers in 2023, with “account on hold” claims, and requests to “update payment information.”
