Demon Slayer Season 3 How Many Episodes

How Many Episodes Will Demon Slayer Season 3 Have?

The number of episodes in Demon Slayer Season 3 hasn’t been announced yet. Unlike American TV shows, where the number of episodes is typically known far before a season premiere, Japanese studios tend to keep the episode count a secret. However, we can look at past seasons to predict how many episodes Demon Slayer Season 3 will have.

Demon Slayer Season 3 episode count

Demon Slayer Season 3 will most likely have between 12 and 18 episodes. We can base this on previous seasons. Here’s how many chapters of the manga each season has adapted so far:

  • Season 1: 53 Chapters = 26 Episodes
  • Season 2: 44 Chapters = 18 Episodes

So that means each season adapted roughly this many chapters per episode:

  • Season 1: 2.03 chapters per episode
  • Season 2: 2.4 chapters per episode

If Season 3 only adapts the Swordsmith Village Arc, which is 30 chapters, we can assume it’ll be around the standard one cour length of 12-15 episodes. However, if it also adapts the Hashira Training Arc, which is nine chapters, we’ll likely see Season 3 extend to 18 episodes.

However, we won’t know for sure how many episodes Demon Slayer Season 3 will have until we hear something official. Whether it’s one cour, two cour, or a split cour is anyone’s guess right now.
