Forza Horizon 5 Barbie DLC Adds New Cars

Forza Horizon 5 Barbie DLC Adds New Cars

The upcoming Barbie movie is getting some video game tie-in DLC, with Xbox announcing new Forza Horizon 5 Barbie DLC set to arrive in the racing game completely for free.

What do we know about the Forza Horizon 5 Barbie DLC?

The new Forza Horizon 5 Barbie DLC will give players two cars completely for free. First, Barbie’s iconic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette, painted in her signature pink, will be available. Alongside that, a 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will also be added into the game that’s inspired by Ken in the upcoming film.

Both cars will be available to anyone who plays Forza Horizon 5 and can be found in the game’s in-game Message Center. After claiming the cars there, players will be able to access them from Forza’s in-game garage and you can take them out racing from there.

Currently, no release information on when the cars will be available has been announced. However, with the film set to premiere on July 21, 2023, it’s likely the DLC will arrive sometime before then.

Barbie is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women) from a screenplay she co-wrote with Noah Baumbach. Joining Robbie are Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Hari Nef, Will Ferrell, Helen Mirren, Dua Lipa, and more.
