Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis Release Date

Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis Release Date Revealed

Square Enix has finally revealed the Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis release date for Android and iOS. While players will have to wait until next month to get their hands on the full version of the game, pre-registration is open right now.

What is the Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis release date?

Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, the reimagined version of the PS1 original, will be released on September 7, 2023, for both Android and iOS. A pre-registration campaign has opened today where players can register their interest on the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store with rewards on offer once a certain number of registrations has been hit.

At the time of writing, the majority of the rewards had already been unlocked as 1 million players have already registered their interest. This means that the following rewards will be available to all players at the game’s launch:

  • 15 Draw Tickets
  • 1,500 Blue Crystals
  • Jumpstart Item Set (includes Weapon Enhance Material (S) x40, Weapon Enhance Material (M) x10, Low-Grade Titanium x10, Low-Grade Steel x10, and Low-Grade Rose Gold x10)
  • Zweihander Sword
  • A 5-Star Weapon Draw Ticket

There are two tiers of rewards left to claim. Once 1.2 million players have pre-registered, they will receive another 15 Draw Tickets, 1,500 Blue Crystals, and a second Jumpstart Item Set. When the total reaches 1.5 million players, a Gear Ticket will also be added to the loot.

Following the game’s closed beta period, the team made some adjustments to the game per player feedback. Complaints included the game’s menu not being easy to use and that there weren’t enough enhancement materials and stamina. The battle system also caused a few issues with time and co-op. As such, Square Enix will be making the following changes when the game is released in September:

  • UI adjustments
  • Removal of the limit on stamina tonics
  • Removal of the maximum number of stamina boosts
  • Adjustment of the type and amount of materials required for various types of growth
  • Content difficulty adjustments
  • Reassessing recommended battle Power
  • Extending the time limit during battle
  • Removing the time period limit to participate in co-op
  • Battle UI adjustments
