How to get the AC Mirage House of Wisdom gear chest
To get the AC Mirage House of Wisdom gear chest, you will have to complete a few steps. First, it is most important to get the key for the door leading to the chest. The key is not on a guard or sitting on a chair, but on a normal NPC.
Go to the above spot on the map on the northeastern side of the roof and you will find the character with the Astronomical Library key. Pickpocket him to get it. Use Eagle Vision (press left on the D-pad) to see his pouch.
From there, go back to the part of the rooftop with the locked door right near the gear chest. You can unlock the door, but there is more to do. Climb up the scaffolding (or use the lift) on the side of the building to get to the roof.
You will need to throw a knife through the window, but this part is a little different from normal since you aren’t going to aim at the red jars. Instead, you will have to aim at the chandelier above them. Throw a knife at it and it will come crashing down.
Now go back down to the locked door with the note next to it, unlock with the key you pickpocketed, and then climb up the ladders. The gear chest is in there. It should contain the Abbasid Knight Sword upgrade schematic.
