Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Location: How to Get the Nice Things Trophy

Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Sign Locations: How to Get the Nice Things in Life Trophy

The Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter location is for players who want to meet the esteemed mayor of the town (who is seemingly up for reelection, too). He’s got campaign materials all around that tell players that he will answer the rough questions and won’t roll over on issues. He will even give you the Mayor Setter charm if you find him. Here’s how to find Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2 and how to pet him.

How to pet Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2

To find Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2, you will have to progress until Return 6: Scratch, which is one of the later chapters for Saga, and defeat the boss. This will essentially put you at the point of no return for Saga, so be sure make a manual save and avoid talking to Agent Kiran Estevez to progress the story.

But before you can actually get to the Mayor Setter location, you will need to find and collect all of his campaign slogan materials in Alan Wake 2. There are six of them. The first three are in Bright Falls: by the Elderwood Palace Lodge, across the street from Oh Deer Diner, and right by the Wellness Center near the nursing home.

The other three are in Watery: right by Suomi Hall, near the entrance to the trailer park by the save room, and in Coffee World by Mocha the Moose’s pen.

After collecting all six (which can be tracked in Saga’s mind place), travel to Watery and go into Suomi Hall. Walk inside and you will see Setter on the front stage (turn on your flashlight since it is dark). Just go up to him and press the interaction button to pet him. Doing so will unlock the “The Nice Things in Life” trophy or achievement.

Petting Setter will also unlock the Mayor Setter charm (if you do not have room in your inventory, it will be sent to the shoebox). This is an extremely valuable charm for Saga since it shows you all the collectibles and items within a fairly wide radius.

This is helpful tracking down stashes, keys, nursery rhymes, and lunch boxes, in addition to normal resource containers. Any time you are somewhat near a point of interest, it will be marked on your map.
