My Time at Sandrock Graphite Locations In Truss We Trust

My Time at Sandrock: Where to Find Graphite Locations for In Truss We Trust

You’ll reach a point in My Time at Sandrock when you’ll need to find graphite locations to make steel bars. These are required to construct the trusses for the In Trusses We Trust mission. However, there’s a catch. You can’t access the area where you can mine graphite until you rebuild the bridge. So what are you supposed to do?

Where to find graphite in My Time at Sandrock

You can find graphite in My Time at Sandrock by mining sandy ground in these locations:

  • Gecko Station Ruins
  • Mole Cave Abandoned Ruins
  • Spaceship Abandoned Ruins

However, if you’re having trouble finding graphite, it’s likely because you’re trying to make steel bars to complete the In Trusses we Trust mission.

You’ll need the following materials to construct each of the two required trusses:

  • Bronze Frame x3
  • Copper Screw x20
  • Steel Bar x8

When trying to build the trusses, you’ll quickly realize that you don’t have access to any iron ore or graphite, which are needed to produce steel bars. Unfortunately, you need to cross the bridge to reach the locations to mine graphite, but you can’t build the trusses to do so without the material.

Fortunately, there’s an easy way to get the steel bars you need to complete the trusses. You can find iron scrap by breaking down the broken bus frame, robots, and hypersleep chambers at Eufaula Salvage. Once you’ve got some iron scrap, throw it into your Civil Recycler and wait. Each piece has an 82% chance of producing a steel bar, and you only need 16 to finish both trusses.

Depending on your luck, it might take a few days to recycle enough iron scrap to get the steel bars you need. Fortunately, once the bridge is complete, you won’t have to worry about finding graphite again.
